BEHAVIORAL ASSESSMENT

Outfitted with Impact Dog Crates, real-time GPS tracking, and advanced climate control, our shuttles are designed with your dog’s safety and comfort in mind. Video surveillance, driver monitoring, and telematics ensure every moment of their journey is accounted for. As you follow their route to Open Sky Dog Ranch in real time, you can rest easy knowing their well-being is our highest priority.

FACILITY CHECK-IN
When your dog arrives at our facility, their care begins the moment they step off the shuttle. Each dog is unloaded individually for a meticulous intake process, where we photograph them, record their weight, and perform a thorough check for fleas, ticks, cuts, or matting. These photos are immediately uploaded to our system, ensuring every team member can quickly identify and familiarize themselves with your dog. To prioritize their well-being, we equip your dog with an activity tracker to monitor their movement and sleep patterns throughout their stay. And for dogs who aren’t confident swimmers, we provide a flotation harness, ensuring their safety during water activities. Every detail is designed with care and intention, so your dog thrives in every moment they spend with us.

The most popular dog breeds were originally bred for tasks like herding livestock, pulling sleds, guiding fish into nets, baiting bulls, flushing fowl, safeguarding sheep, and assisting with search and security operations. Despite this heritage of hard work and high energy, too many dogs today find their days reduced to brief 10-minute bathroom breaks and quick walks around the block—far from the active lives they were built for. At Open Sky Dog Ranch, dogs roam off-leash in the open air, engaging in instinct-driven play with other dogs amidst natural, forest-inspired features. Our properties are designed to help dogs reconnect with their ancestral instincts, offering rolling hills, swimming pools, boulders, sand and mud pits, tunnels, climbing structures, hurdles, and weave poles. Whether climbing, digging, or splashing, dogs experience the freedom and enrichment they crave while their owners are away.
